The past two summers I was so lucky that during our summer holidays we went to places where friends of mine from the Ravelry forum live. What a pleasure to finally get to know 'virutal friends' in person - people I had the feeling I had known so well already and it was an awesome experience. Virtual friends turned into real ones and needless to say that since we met I was pondering on a special gift to remember the day. So I did what I do best: I knit socks. Lots of them. And today the first pair arrived at its new home in Canada.
Evey loves autumn colours, so this skein of Mountain Colors Bearfoot in colourway 'Gold Rush' seemed to be the perfect choice - and based on her reaction I chose the right yarn.
It makes me so happy, Evey is happy with her 'Friendship Socks'. :-)
