We've spent the past few days cleaning up the attic above our garage and I can't even tell you about all the dust and spiderwebs we had to deal with. Ages ago, when this house was a farm house, the attic was used to store corn, but in the past 40 to 50 years or so, it became the place to store 'stuff one might need one day'. So there's a lot of garbage, but also some interesting findings. Like this antique swift.

There are some small bits missing and the base had an encounter with wood worms, but it still works. I really think it's a great piece of craftsmanship.
