Phew... this for sure was a close call!
The aim with my new shawl design was to knit up as much of possible from the gorgeous skein of gradient yarn by Wollelfe and look...
... less than a gram to spare! I think I did well - but needless to say that I was in a state of mild panic doing the bind off, not sure whether I'd have enough or not.
Btw, the yarn doesn't look this way because I had to rip back, but that's how the yarn came here. Apparently the dye is applied to a sock blanks which after dyeing is frogged and wound to a cake. I admit, not my favourite kind of yarn to knit with, because I'm such a stickler when it comes to even stitches, But I do like the colour change and I can't wait to see the shawl blocked.
