I admit, in April I almost lost momentum with my wonderful plan to knit all the patterns from the ornament club gifted to me by a Ravelry friend. But there was a reason for it - because I wasn't happy at all with the April bunny pattern. Cute, that's for sure, but really, to me (and it was the same for everyone I asked) there was hardly a difference to the llama pattern from March. Hm... So in the end I decided to knit a bunny, but I changed the pattern around quite a bit (made the body wider but not as long, added length to the ears, made a scarf instead of yet another cowl) and I think it turned out quite okay.

Anyway, I was a bit worried about the May pattern, because I knew I'd quit the ornment project if the new pattern isn't to my liking - so I was very happy to see that this time I received a fox pattern that I really said 'fox' to me. No need to say that I knit my foxy friend up right away. ;-)

Mind you, my ornaments will never look perfect because this tiny fiddly stuff isn't something I particularly enjoy, but at least I stuck to my plan and the fifth woodland friend got finished.
