As I already told you the other day, I am not really a fan of toe-up socks. One of the reasons is that I prefer my socks with heel flap and gusset and that I find it always hard to decide when to start the gusset increases. Although the main reason is probably that I dislike the sloopy look of the bind off at the cuff.
But recently I played around with sewn bind offs and I am quite fond of the invisible ribbed bind off. So why not give it a try with a pair of socks? Especially because in my Ravelry group our monthly challenge is 'I don't usually...' and I can fill the blank with 'knit toe-up socks'. So that's what I did.

Ulli had a pair of these, the pattern is called KawKawEsque by Yarnissima, and he literally has worn the socks to pieces, so I decided to gift him a new pair. And I really think these turned out well - including the not at all sloppy cuff. :)
